Cincinnati—A Great Place to Visit while Learning a Second Language

Cincilingua is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, on the banks of the Ohio River. The "Queen City" offers the advantages of a big city, but still has that
small-town friendly feel. No matter what your interests, you will be able to find something exciting to do in Cincinnati with the variety of attractions and venues available for visitors and its two million residents.

Sports of All Sorts

Our language center is located within walking distance of the stadiums of the Cincinnati Reds professional baseball team and the Cincinnati Bengals professional football team. Cincinnati is also home to the nationally ranked University of Cincinnati and Xavier University NCAA college basketball teams. If you like golf or tennis, there are 96 golf courses in the area and numerous indoor and outdoor tennis courts available for play. The excitement of professional tennis hits the city when the ATP tour stops here each August.

Arts are King in the Queen City
Cultural entertainment such as musicals, ballets, dramas and opera can be seen at the Aronoff Center for the Arts, Playhouse in the Park and Music Hall. Our city is home to the world famous Cincinnati Symphony and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. In the summer months, Riverbend Music Pavilion hosts a wide variety of entertainment, featuring tour stops by some of the biggest names in music.

Other World-Class Offerings
Cincinnati has the internationally recognized Cincinnati Zoo and other first-class museums such as the Cincinnati Museum Center, which houses the Children's Museum and Natural History Museum; Cincinnati Art Museum; and Taft Museum. Just across the river in Northern Kentucky is Newport on the Levee, an exciting entertainment district that offers fine restaurants, nightclubs, movies and shopping, and just a short walk from the Levee is the Newport Aquarium, a great place to view unusual aquatic life from around the world.

Restaurants to Suit Every Palate
There is dining to suit every taste from French restaurants to Cincinnati-style chili at Skyline Chili. The Boathouse on the riverfront is a city staple serving famous Montgomery Inn ribs, while the Precinct is known for its steak menu. And, visitors can't leave the city without sampling Graeter's ice cream, which was featured on the Oprah Winfrey show.
